This building, located north of the Danforth, was a residential family home in 1989. At that time, the zoning was C1V1 which allowed for full commercial use. Since 1990, the entire building has been used as an accounting office and the City of Toronto has been billing the owner full commercial property taxes. A sign permit was issued in 1990 for the accounting office, allowing the owner signage on the front yard. But the owner never applied to the City to change the existing usage from residential to commercial. |
