There were 337 January MLS residential sales in the G.T.A. that sold for $1.5 million or more, down from 2025's 480 January sales, and the 7th highest number of January sales in all 17 recorded years since 2010. Of the 337 sales, 90 homes sold for $2,000,000 to $3,000,000. 33 sales were for more than $3,000,000.

The highest priced G.T.A. residential sale reported through the Toronto Regional Real Estate Board in January was $13,550,001.  The sale was for a 6500 square feet stone and brick two storey residence on a 165 feet by 260 feet lot in the Casa Loma area. The home comes with six bedrooms, five baths, a detached garage for two cars, six additional parking spaces, and an indoor pool.
