There were 611 August MLS residential sales in the G.T.A. that sold for $1.5 million or more, down from 2025's 631 August sales, and the 7th highest number of August sales in all 17 recorded years since 2010. Of the 611 sales, 148 homes sold for $2,000,000 to $3,000,000. 67 sales were for more than $3,000,000.

The highest priced G.T.A. residential sale reported through the Toronto Regional Real Estate Board in August was $23,500,000.  The sale was for a 6972 square feet detached three storey brick and stone residence on a 50 feet by 170 feet lot in Forest Hill.  The home comes with five bedrooms, eight baths, a built-in garage for two cars, four additional parking spaces, and an inground pool.  The listing brokerage described the property - "a newly built, iconic ultra-luxury gated estate. An exclusive enclave long recognized among North America's most affluent and distinguished communities. Impeccably refined space with perfection to the millimeter."
