There were 470 December MLS residential sales in the G.T.A. that sold for $1.5 million or more, up from 2024's 450 December sales, and the 4th highest number of December sales in all 16 recorded years since 2010. Of the 470 sales, 121 homes sold for $2,000,000 to $3,000,000. 51 sales were for more than $3,000,000.

The highest priced G.T.A. residential sale reported through the Toronto Regional Real Estate Board in December was $7,500,000.  The sale was for a 9100 square feet stone and brick two storey residence on a 80 feet by 111 feet lot in Forest Hill. The home comes with four bedrooms, seven baths, an attached garage for three cars, four additional parking spaces, and an indoor pool. The listing brokerage described the property - "an extraordinary custom built residence in the heart of Forest Hill one of Canada's most prestigious neighbourhoods. Completed in 2023, this timeless limestone home sits on a prominant corner lot. Luxurious living space." Other features include an elevator, guest accommodations, heated driveway, and roughed in theatre room.
